Geoscience Australia came to us with a brief to design a stand in which to exhibit Australia’s resources and research studies in the China Mining expo 2012.
Our team came up with three concepts each of which were approached from different perspectives. I had decided to go with the Geographical contour lines and use topography as an inspiration to my design. The stand space would be quite open with a feature roof which would draw attention to the stand. Large graphical maps and screens would fill the stand and a meeting space in the middle would allow the client to have discussions with potential investors.
Although my concept wasn’t chosen by the client to proceed further in the production process. The concept displays the thought and story process behind the design idea.
